Real cookie. 10 g protein. Conveniently gluten-free.

Hello! I’m Jenny, the founder of Jenny’s Cookies.
My own gluten sensitivity made me realize how hard it is to find tasty, healthy snacks in Japan. So I opened my New Zealand grandmother’s recipe notebook and created Jenny’s Cookies: gluten-free protein cookies that are nutritious and delicious. Here’s why they’ve become a hit among fitness enthusiasts in Japan.

A delicious solution born from my own struggle
Living with gluten intolerance was the spark behind Jenny’s Cookies. Made with family love and a traditional NZ-inspired recipe, these cookies are simple to enjoy, clean on ingredients, and easy to make a daily habit - a healthy snack you can actually look forward to.
At a glance: 10 g protein (casein) per 50 g cookie, gluten-free, fiber-rich, and made with real, kitchen-friendly ingredients.
Why “gluten-free” is gaining attention in fitness and Japan
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) explains that “gluten-free” refers to foods made almost entirely without gluten (a protein found in wheat, barley, etc.), originally used in specific medical contexts like celiac disease. In Japan, there is limited scientific evidence that a gluten-free diet directly causes weight loss; however, some people choose to avoid processed wheat products for lifestyle reasons - for example, calorie control, ingredient transparency, or simply how they feel day to day. Our approach: make great-tasting cookies first, with a gluten-free recipe that fits everyday life in Japan.

Why we chose casein protein (the slow & steady one)
We use premium casein because many athletes like its gradual digestion - it can help maintain blood amino acid levels over time compared with faster proteins. That’s why some people enjoy casein in the evening or between meals as part of their routine. Our goal was to build that “steady” feel into a single-serve, crave-worthy cookie.

Voices from Japan’s fitness community
From runners and HYROX/CrossFit fans to busy professionals, people keep telling us the same thing:
“It tastes like a real cookie - and I feel good after.”
We’re so grateful for the support from Japanese fitness influencers and everyday customers who’ve added Jenny’s Cookies to their breakfast, office, or post-workout routine.
